Research In Motion announced the new BlackBerry Curve 9380 smartphone in Indonesia, the first-ever BlackBerry Curve model with an all touch display. This sleek and stylish new smartphone is now available from authorized partners Comtech Cellular, Teletama Artha Mandiri and Selular Media Infotama.
Gregory Wade, Regional Managing Director, East Asia at RIM, said, “The new BlackBerry Curve 9380 is sleek,
easy-to-use and delivers a powerful social and multimedia experience. The vivid all-touch display is a first for the BlackBerry Curve family of smartphones, which is extremely popular in Indonesia.”
In addition, the BlackBerry Curve 9380 includes built-in support for Augmented Reality and NFC, allowing users to connect with the world around them in fresh new ways. With the Wikitude Augmented Reality application, users can find nearby BBM contacts in real-time, read reviews about restaurants close to them, or get the story behind an interesting landmark and points of interest. NFC also enables many new and exciting capabilities, including the ability to make mobile payments, pair accessories or read SmartPoster tags with a simple tap of the smartphone.
