BBM 5.0.0.33 seems to work just fine on my phone (5.0.0.328). I downloaded to my phone via:

Blackberry messenger installed on my 5.0.0.314 from the app world worked fine also reinstalled from
BlackBerry Messenger
and it worked fine from there too ;)
