Thread: Advice on 8900 vs 8520

I am going to get a new phone tomorrow and I can't decide which one to get.
I want the 8520 because it has the new track screen but I hear it doesn't have a flash on the camera and lower screen resolution.

The 8900 has the ball, flash and better resolution.

Any suggestions or comments??

I am coming from a storm. I love the storm but have to many problems with it on Tmobile.

I have the 8900 and it is a really nice phone. Little smaller than the Tour but I use it a lot for international travel. Unfortunately I have not seen the 8520 in person but from what I have seen would get the 8900. The trackpad of the 8520 does look nice.

I really appreciate your advice. I think I will go with the 8900. I get it 149.99.
And then I will wait for the 8520 to show up on craigslist and just get it from there to try it out.

if you dont' care about money, get 8900, then get the 9700 in a few months...

Man, I don't know, the 8900 is pretty magical but I'm not use to the key board at all.

I want the storm 2 but it is nice having a phone that is made for my provider because it works like its suppose to.

If you don't mind losing out on the screen resolution and camera with flash, the 8520 is a pretty cool phone. I am going to be getting an 8900 because I use the camera quite a bit at work, but someone in my office just got the 8520 and the trackpad and phone itself is a great device.

Between the two that you have listed I would say you get the most for yuor money with the 8900 at the prices listed by TMO. I have played with both and prefer the 8900 as it feels like a phone, I did not like the feel of the 8520. Reminded me of when Palm released the Centro just not as bad as the Centro.
