Which carrier would you need jmarkybb? I have found several. For an 8310.
Of course you would need to delete the Vendor.xml. Do you remember how to do that?

Its not for me Pascal, I got roped in to helping some one in the USA, they have BBM V 5.0 on their Curve, but no BBM icon, witch means they have the wrong OS, right?

They are on ATT/Cingular Curve 8310
    4.2.2.170 (platform 2.5.0.30)

Yes..you are correct sir....The OS I posted should work if I'm not mistaken. They will need to delete the Vendor.xml as I expressed earlier.

ok, so I am stumped. I'm sorry I kept reading and I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. I have 250 with lyricals hybrid on it.
I can't seem to get bbm 5 on it.

I thought the hybrid would load it automatically but it didn't, it was in the apps screen on my phone but no icon?

    What step am I missing?

Have you restored the contacts to your phone and then done a battery pull?

Battery Pulls is simply taking the battery out. I recommend 3 x 60 second pulls.

Also here is an OTA for you: BlackBerry Messenger 5.0 OTAs
