Since upgrading my Curve 8900 OS via Desktop manager to OS 5.0.0.681, my Gmail accounts that were previously visible now have duplicate icons when using the default themes.
I've looked everywhere for a means of getting rid of this annoyance, but to no avail!!
I have had the same issue.. Have u tried a battery pull? That typically fixed it for me.. If not I just hid one of them and forgot about.
And eventually it had disappeared.

I agree ... When ever I change themes my gmail dupliactes the icon and doing a battery pull takes care of that.
