So far everything is working top notch so i can't complain at all....i find it a bit more responsive than the previous OS!!!!
Has anyone noticed that the battery life is not as impressive?? My battery was at 25% at 5:30pm today after I unplugged it from the wall at 9:30. But the radio is alot stronger than .554. Maybe tomorrow we can get our 5.0.0.6xx leak tomorrow?!?![]()

Really?? My phone was in the yellow range by 5pm. How long did you have the leak for? Im actually on Willyboy's hybrid right now. Is there such thing as a "settle in" period for the OS??

well, we love new OS... so there will be no "settle in"...
i tried many gadgets, pdas, phones.... so far RIM Software Developer is the best! because they keep updating the OS.. it means they care!
have u ever got HP Pda? (winmo).... from the day u bought the device until its rotten in the basement there will be no OS upgrades...
how bout HTC? yes they update the ROMs.. but only once a year.. after that it just stop right there.
Nokia? Sonyericcsion?... hard to see it coming...
now Blackberry.... 2 OS in 1 week?... it means they shows some Love!

So far the best OS for 8900! Everything is working fast and fine.
The boot time is faster. The Java apps are running fast. The trackball is responding accurately. I am happy and going to stick to it for a while.
Only bummer is, I need Japanese which is not in there
@sliders7, you are right. HTC never updates OS. Even for the "open source" Android, they are not updating OS for the older device. What a loser!
hmmm maybe its this app Im testing. :/ Graaaaaaaah. I have to fix this battery leak!!! Thanks for the feedback guys

is it the leaked version or official? i downloaded the leaked version, but it's slow as hell. i like the onyx 9700 .545 modified for 8900 version. runs smooth.
i currently trying out the hybrid v3 (hillyboy?). somehow it's still kinda somewhat slow.
if the .592 for 8900 official already, i'd like to try it out. where can i download it?
thanks
Here you go it is in our downloads section (tab on top of page). please remember to remove the vendor file.
