i hook my 8900 up to my mac and what do i see? update available!
im like wow! AT&T finally released os 5!
well they were just messing with us 8900 users.
its only os 4.6.1.319. makes me soooo mad. :aargh4:

Haha I doubt ATT will release any official 5.0 for a blackberry. I don't even think the 9700 official OS is a very recent build.

Just install 5.0 from another Carrier and Delete Vendor.xml file and then ur good to go with 5.0 on ur 89
