Good afternoon, I was wondering if there was a way to create a music/video/multi-player for blackberry's that resembled the likes of the Windows Media Center?
The way the album covers show in the background and how the one file playing displays the description of the song with small fonts and big album art.
Whom should be given the idea?
Im sure you guys dont need screen shots.
Anyone willing to take on the challenge?
I don't know that what you are looking for would be possible. I could be wrong but I don't know that it could be built as an app that would work properly. With the new 5.0 OS out there seems harder for the developers. But get if it can be done awesome. I would think thoug on that small of a screen would be hard to get it all on there in a readable font.

well, i understand that most of the details would be lost, nonetheless, i fell like anything close to the original would be perfect, look @ how far the've gotten with winberry 7 ultimate...
i would love to see this done.

That is a very good point. Just remember that this won't be a theme. It will have to be a music player app. There currently is no way to just skin the stock player.

Thanks again for your input AspenJ ... I love my bb based on all of what i can do with it, im just hoping to be able to customize it like, say, an HTC device.
I ignore much of the technicalities of the matter since I am new to all of this but im slowly learning.
No problem and unfortunately the BB world is not quite as customizable as the HTC. But it is what i given for the push email and the loveable BB's. If you have any other questoins feel free to ask :)Quote:
