Thread: Look what I got for a present today

I walk into T-mobile to drop off some business cards. The reps, like usual try to talk like they know what they are talking about. This one guy keeps thinking my Tour is a Curve 8320 but after making them all look dumb, I walked out with an 8520 for FREE!!!





Still havent opened it yet. I'm getting there, I keep getting side tracked ha.

Well now you have to teach me how to do that! I'd love to go to a store and walk out with a new BlackBerry (since all I have is an 8320) for free.

I'm with Sun on this...teach me oh mighty one...I want to walk in and walk out with a free Storm 2.

I could not even get so lucky.

I have even gone so far as to take my laptop into the VZW retail center to upgrade the managers personal device and walked out with a thank you very much.

No, don't get me wrong I was happy to do that. Would have been nice though to turn around after having heard my name called to see a nice shiny new net book getting handed to me or something to that effect.

When I walk into a Cincinnati bell wireless store, for what ever reason, the reps always try to talk like there some kind of blackberry expert. My first question is alway "what os are you running"? 9 out of 10 times i walk away with with a smirk and them with there mouth hanging open and if they know, i sometimes leave with a friend.

Not a free phone but I'm not you.

Huh? I did not deny anyone.

My impressions of this phone. Really not all that great. Just holding it, it feels like a cheap build. It has a bit of the Storm 2 presence with the call/bb/back/end call buttons are actually apart of the screen. The optical trackpad IS cool but I don't like how it moves a little.

I'm going to play around with this for a bit then do a BlackberryOS review AFTER I do the jawbone review.
