bbm 5.0.2.12

I have a blackberry 8520 and my os is 4.6.1.314
I downloaded the new bbm(5.0.2.12) like 10 times and rebooted
My phone for like 10 times but I still don't see any changes.
I can see the new emoticons and other new stuff.
Can anyone help me pls

If you are looking for the emoticons, I think its only available in BBM version 6.1xxx, and for you to enjoy this BBM 6.1xxx your device must be runing atleast OS 5.0xxx, so my advice to you is to make up your mind and purchase a newer device so as to enjoy new apps and other thing that BB can offer, and when you want to purchase, don't just purchase OS 5.0xx device just go for OS 6.0 or better still OS 7.0 because its like even the 5.0 OS devices will some be dumped.

BBM 5.0.2.12 did not have very noticeable changes. You can try to upgrade to 6.1 as the app world documentation states that OS 4.5.0 is required, but the support documentation states you must have OS 5.0.

Your best bet may be to upgrade to OS 5.0 I believe that latest for your device is 5.0.0.681. You can download that here:
