how does the bluetooth work...

i have tried everything...pairing with other platform cell phs, bb phones...but no matter what i am not being able to send or receove files via bluetooth...
its very frustrating..the pairing gets done but then during the transmission there's a failure...any one facing the same problem..if any body has the solution pls give me d necessary steps pertaining to all the use cases..pls

bb send to bb..
bb receive from bb
bb send to other type devices (laptopn, symbian, android, ios etc)
bb receive from other type devices (same as above)

my handset is bb curve 8520

Did you try a reset of your phone? it's a machine and they are never perfect. Try a battery pull out and give it a read to fix your problem 8520 bluetooth problems - BlackBerry Support Community Forums
