Thread: Curve 8520 problem

I was updating my blackberry curve and the battery ran dead. It won't recharge and the updates only half complete. The screen is black with a battery and a red X through it and a white bar at the bottom shows how complete my update is. The update won't restart until the phone is charged. Can anyone help?

I don't think if you battery is dead then it's gonna work. The update will begin from start once again now but before that make your battery functional.

Make sure you pull the battery to stop the process, then put it back in and charge the phone. It will be unuseable until you get the OS reloaded via DM or another program

Don't forget that when you update your device to keep your phone plugged into a charger. This is one of the main issues people have when updating is they forget to plug their phone in and it goes dead. This is because your phone is using a high amount of battery power to download and install the OS.
