Thread: Updated but problem the same :(

So I have downloaded the new os yipee and it works wonders but my problem has not been solved. My phone don't read my memory cards. I thought if I upgrade new os problem will be fix so now I guessing hardware problem or what you gurus think

Most likley you are looking at a hardware issue. See what you can't get done from your service provider on the issue. If you have insurance on your phone you won't have to worry. If you don't, make sure you get a price quote first on cost to troubleshoot and fix the issue so they don't try and rip you off.

If you can try reformatting the card from in your phone and try again. Do not format the card in computer or another device. Often a format done on other device is in a different filesystem or just has bugs with the file layout the phone wants.

If format does not work and card works in computer or another blackberry then yes, hardware glitch is reasonable cause.

Yes I also think it is hardware,but finding a place to fix this problem will be difficult as the cell phone shops ask a arm and a leg with there high prices ....
