Leaked OS: BlackBerry Curve 8520 - 5.0.0.1022
Another 5.0.0.1022 build has been leaked out, this one is for the BlackBerry Curve 8520. It really does seem like RIM is pushing out newer releases for their older devices that will not get BlackBerry 6. Now its in the hands of the carriers to push out official releases. Battery charging on 5.0.0.1022
I have installed and tested the 5.0.0.1022 on the curve 8520
3 remarks :
- After starting the OS it seems that it takes a littele time before everything works smooth. The first 5 minutes the os will hang for approx. 10 seconds on several places and times. after a time it works fine and faster then my prev. release.
Its like there must be loaded a lot in background after the os has started ???
- When the phone is on the charger (or will be charged with USB on pc) on the main screen the lightning icon comes not up. So it seems the phone is not loading !!! but in fact it does so only the icon is missing.
- On my First impression it seems that battery live is lesser than with my prev. release but this needs more testing to be sure.
When i know more about this topic i will post it !
For the rest it works fine !!!!
