Thread: Blackberry Curve 8520 theme won't work.

I've tried everything, but for some reason I can't download themes to my Curve. I can put them on it, but they don't come up when I go to the themes folder in options. I bought it from a friend and it was a at&t phone, but is now used with a different service. The only theme that it shows is the at&t theme. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

After you do the install have you tried to pull the battery and reset the phone?

It takes nearly a minute for that theme to go into affect also.

One more suggestion would be to change the policy.bin file, it might be locked through work or something. You can see how to do that through google (I don't have the link on hand, sorry :\)..

Yes, I've pulled out the battery many times and no luck.

Another thought is that many custom themes require one of the default BlackBerry themes to be installed for the custom theme to work. If your Berry only has one theme installed, maybe it needs another of the default Berry themes to be installed for your custom theme to work.
