Our friends at PocketBerry let us know about this one. Singapore Telecom has officially released 5.0.0.681 for the BlackBerry Curve 8520. This is yet another official release that was leaked a little over a week ago. If you didn't get to load that one...here is an official version for you.

why is anybody not saying anything on this thread? its strange because i know a lot of people have the 8500 series.

Hi, i own a BB curve 8520 and i am new to using BB's, i right now have OS v5.0.0.592 issued by Bharti Airtel ( India), can someone please suggest if i would face issues by upgrading to 5.0.0.681 issued by Singapore telecom.
