Thread: 8330 does bbm show music playing?

i have a friend that has a 8330 and they downloaded bbm 5 and is wondering does the 8330 let you display the music you are listening too in bbm 5? in my storm there is a button that says show what i'm listening to...and well my friend is saying she doesnt have that option. is that true or is it away around that? they want to display there musice they are listening too.

I'm not sure on the 8330 if that option is available or not. Let me see if I can find someone to help you.

thanks...the 8330 doesnt have the music box thingy...i thought maybe the new bbm 5 everyone should have gotten that option.

I looked in my BBM options but don't have that setting. I have the option to display what other's are playing, but not what I'm playing. So I'm guessing it's a limitation of the 4.5 OS.

if ur running 5.0 bbm yes 4.5 bbm go to the bbm menu then options scroll to bottom should show now playing something hit that

• Show recent updates
• Group recent updates from same contact/group
• display music updates from contacts

• Vibrate when receiving ping
• Display security question on invitation
• Save message history

Odd. Look into the myprofile section. I checked yesterday. My sister has a 8330 sprint. The first option you should see under your picture is show music playing.

When u click on ur own profile pic, its going to prompt!! If u want ur buddies to see what ure listening too!!!
