    Is vlingo worth buying?

Is it worth 18 bucks? How long does it take to get used to it? I sent a few texts to my wife tonight and it messed up a few words no big deal though. It seems like its AWESOME though.

How does it compare to the google voice app? I cant even find it though, says something about invites needed.

    Well...

Vlingo is a great app... really.

Once you go pro you get to find the usefullness of it. I doubted it at first aswell but once I went pro and it learned my speech patterns/style, it works great. Also it's really nice to be able to send msgs, emails, do searches and so on while driving without having to look at my phone.

It like all things, has a little bit of a learning curve but that is to be expected in all things.
    Where's my WiFi?

I use Vlingo all the time. It does take some time to get used to, but it does learn your speech patterns. You will have to correct so voice to text, but this decreases over time. I wished it was cheaper also, but look around for discount codes...you should be able to find one.

Vlingo has certainly been worth the money for me. I use it all the time, and IMO, it's one of the "must have" apps that are available!!

Hopefully you will get your discount code. I run the free version and I am satisfied with it. It does not offer the same great qualities as the pro, but I'm not willing to fork out the money for this application yet.

My dad uses Vlingo since he is getting older and has carpul so the keys on his storm take him longer to type on, he loves it and if I remember correctly he did have to train it but after some time it runs nice and smooth
When in doubt, pull the battery out!

I have used it from day 1 and love it. being in Los Angeles, you can't talk/text on the phone while driving so it really helps and saves time. I've noticed that it did get used to my voice (you can also set the sensitivity to that) but speak a little slower and clearly and it will do a good job. Another tip, don't have the window down in the car cuz the wind can muffle your voice.

I think it is worth the price and have recommended it to everyone I know!

    vlingo

i have had vlingo for over a year now, and itx is awesome well worth 18 dollars. it will be needed when all the laws are passed to not be talking on your cell while driving. once it learns your voice it will be better. it does alot more than texts, it opens up apps, searches the web. just my 2 cents for a pennyhone:

Short answer... no. Just use the free version. But at least use one of the versions. How many 3rd party apps might save your life???
