I did something in the security or media menu. I can not delete pics anymore. it gives me an error msg. nothing out of the ordinary. Says "file can not be deleted".

What i wanna accomplish is to lock my media card with a password and or learn to lock applications of my choice. What exactly is data encryption when it pertains to BB?

I don't want to have to put the password to unlock. In my opinion it makes the phone respond to emails,alerts, texts, etc, etc slower. I only want the password on the media and apps of my choice.

Hmm, I'm not sure what you did either. Have you tried a battery pull?

I made a long trip today only one jack works in my car and i have sirius and blackberry thus my berry is DEAD. So, i'll wait later to do a battery pull. Thanks though
