Hi all! Does anyone know how to unlock the curve 8310 from att? And can it be used with Verizon?

you can unlock the 8310 in the same way you unlock any blackberry, but it wont work on verizon since is a gsm only phone, which means it doesnt support cdma networks

First, you would need an unlock code. As far as steps to unlock, let me know and I will post them for you. If the 8310 is a GSM device, then it cannot be used on Verizon. Hope this helps

If you have been a customer with AT&T for I believe more than 90 days they give you the unlock code for free. As for working on vzw's network it really wouldn't make sense in this case. AT&T uses GSM and Verizon CDMA (in the US). So the only reason one would want to use VZW if they had AT&T overseas is if AT&T had bad service.

you can get it true att or true a third party, if it is using att just call them and ask them for it, if you planning a third party unlock check with horizon wireless and the bottom of the page you will find a link

E, I think the member is overseas so in this instance he could in theory use Verizon's GSM network but that really wouldn't make any sense IMO.

From any cell unlocking company....I got mine from unlockMyBBerry.com for $17.50....People will also pitch in and leave suggestions. It's just about finding the best price.

Most US cell phone carriers do it for free now as long as you have had service with them for a min of 60 days.

Could be...because these batteries do damage with shelf life. I would try another battery.

Sometimes if the battery has not been charged in a long time it might 5-10 mins before the power kicks on. Try that first before spending money on a new battery.
