Issue receiving email
We have a VZW Blackberry Curve 8330 and we are having trouble with the email.
We cannot seem to receive emails on it. The email address is in the following format: email@example.com
Another person in our office has a curve as well and his address is firstname.lastname@example.org with no problems. Cold the period be the problem here?
Update: We also cannot send emails via this unit.
You might wanna try resending your service books, or re-register your host routing table.

And if this still doesn't work what i normally do, not very often though is just delete the email account and re-add it, by the way are you on BIS or BES ?

Thank you. We have done both. We recreated the Blackberry account, sent the service books and registered the table.
Now, when I send an email from the unit, I enter in the "to" field email@example.com
What it sends to is flast domain.com and it fails to send.
UPDATE: Send is ok now. just re-tested.

try doing these steps, then let me know how that works.
And if i can't figure it out im sure one of the smarter people here will lol :-)
Ok, after sending a few PIN messages from multiple sources, and sitting on the phone with VZW for a WHILE...lol we *THINK* we have it fixed. VZW transfered the account to a test unit they had and it functioned. We then sent the service books to our unit and cleared the message history.
At last test last night at 5:30p CST, it was working.
