I have a 8330 curve for 2 years my new co. has updated there security
I am on BB enterprise server my phone locks every 5 minutes and now ask for a password to unlock and I can't change the setting they have a little red dot on them.:evil::evil::evil::evil::evil::evil::evil::ev il::evil::evil::evil::evil::evil::evil::evil::evil ::evil:

I see JL_CMDER instructions however I not sure wiping the BB will fix the problem to change those settings. Can someone help me out on what and how to do IF POSSIBLE.

I have run into this problem before for my friends what your going to have to do is is download a "dummy" file available on the net OR I can find it to give you called: Policy.bin which is filled with "nothing" so as to replace the security so therefore you can turn off the password setting & have no worry about security

This won't work if you're connected to the BES server. Once the BES server realizes that your policy.bin is not the same, it auto updates it - then requiring that you have a password again.. It's a wasted effort if your BB is still connected to the BES server..

This is how it used to be, NO clue if they updated it..
