Thread: Unlocking 8330 VZW Curve for Sprint

Hey whats up everybody. I have an old spare VZW 8330 Curve, that I would like to give to a buddy to use. He is on Sprint. I know I have tripped over a few articles in the past on unlocking phones and setting them up on different carriers. Anybody have info on how to move a VZW phone to Sprint, and have all the data and EVDO function properly?

Very difficult to get that done, if not impossible

You will need the (MSL) Master Subsidy Lock, and the (SPC) Service Programing Code from Sprint.SPC is the code used by the Qualcomm PST program that unlocks the phone for factory programming purposes.

Id call Horizone Wireless, see whAT they can do for you...

Yeah a little scared to do that. The last time I went through that was when I let my buddy borrow the phone. He switched it to Altell, but it wont actually switch back to verizon properly now, lol. Everything works on it but when you dial *228 it wont program.

The ESN is not recognized by VZW now, he had it flashed to Altell. The time and effort its going to take to get it straight, better off buying one used.

Most definately. My wife actually wanted one, so after tell VZW what was goin on, they sent me a new one, lol.
