Thread: Hybrid to Read / Input Thai Language

Hi all. My wife has an 8320 with OS4.5 (latest). However, read / input of Thai Language is only available on OS4.6 or later. Is it possible for someone to make a Hybrid Rom for the 8320, but includes the feature of Thai language from the later OS's?

It would be great if this could be done.

Quick question: Is the version your wife has installed the English or Multilingual?

What you could try is using the Thai language .cod file from the 4.6 OS and copying it to the 4.5 OS cod file directory. If this doesn't work then I'll see if I can't look a little deeper.

I'm so sorry for asking this, but is there a place I can download the COD file for Thai Language from OS4.6? I have searched google but can't seem to find a place to download it.

To do this you would have to download a 4.6 OS and cut it right out of the file list and paste it in the 4.5 OS file list.

It's a pain, and I'm not 100% sure how to do this since I don't make hybrids or any of that stuff.
