Thread: swapping device info?

I have an older 8330 and one that is about a year newer. I'm thinking of swapping my info to the new one. My question is, as many may know, is that if I was to do the swap, will the IT policy that blocks my new OS downloads on my old one, be gone on if I swap to the new one? What if I upgrade the OS on the newer one then swap the info?

You can always replace the IT Policy in your root folder that way on the new phone it installs that. OR When you are transferring data, just make sure you don't select the IT Policy.

Also will I lose all of my pushed email when I swap?

If you are on BES there is no way to rid the IT Policy, it get's pushed to your device EVERY time..

Seriously?! Grr will I ever be rid of that IT policy!

If you don't work for the company anymore, then its possible. As long as you aren't going through that companies BES.
