I am goign to say no as there is not a 5.0 build out for the 8330m which would make it not compatible

yes

loaded it on my VZW 8330. Working great right now. data intensive apps like pandora are loading light lighting right now. bbm5 works perfectly.
im still getting the App world connection message "BBAppWorld is having trouble connecting to the blackberry app world server"

since ive had a OS5.0 on my cruve ive have this issue

hopefully i'm wrong. but it feels like our phones may be getting left in the dust for bb appworld on 5.0. as everyone else seems to have it working on 5

make sure to delete the vendor.xml in the app loader folder...
