I recently upgraded to the official vzw OS and now I can't connect to app world. I keep getting 'verify your network connections'. I have deleted it a few times, battery pull, and set all connections to allow and still no luck.
Any ideas?

Do you have a backed up copy you can restore?

Let's try to resend your service books...then we'll look at your network connections.
Usually when that error happens is something to do with the TCP/IP settings.
What carrier are you on? If you go to options, advanced options, TCP/IP what you have there?
