    BBM5 on 8350i w/os 4.6.1, help!

Will it work? And how?? Hi guys, I've been an active member over at Blackberryforums.com, and am trying to get this to load! I have a copy of BBM5, but I'm not sure which. Also, I am not sure which cod files to delete and replace to get this to work... Any help is wonderful! Thank you.

Easiest way would be to install OTA. Here is the link.

Well now I seem to have a problem... probably should have asked first :duh:, but are there any known bugs to BBM5? I DL'ed the ota last night, worked great. Now this morning, was messing with it, went to send my gf my location, and it locked up. Now alls it does it just keeps constantly trying to reboot! Won't even start up. Help...

I haven't heard of BBM 5.0 causing an issue like that. Usually its just delayed or lost messages. You could try deleteing BBM and see if the issue stops. If it does, reinstall the old version.

ummm... definitely a bug! note to anyone else trying this version, if you try it, DO NOT use the location feature!~ It took me 1/2 a day to get my phone back up and running. I basically had to wipe it back to new, re-install the OS, everything. An absolute royal PITA, that much I do know. Otherwise, for the 10hrs it was on my phone it was very cool! I'll wait for the official release at this point...
