Thread: help with 8350i

Hello everyone i have a 8350i and i cannot make calls i have wiped the handset with bbsak and reloaded new software (had 4.6 and put 5.0) but still cannot make or recieve calls. The error i get when i try to make calls is ! System Busy Try Later. I can put the sim in another handset and it makes calls. Can anybody help me ?

Sound like you have taken all the necessary software steps to rule put a software issue. If you have tested your SIM in another phone and it works, they we know its not your SIM card. My only left idea is that it must be your internal antena or the unti that reads the SIM card.

This means you have a hardware failure. I would take your phone back to the carrier and replace it using your warranty.

Thanx . my warranty has expired so i will take it to a tech to see if they can fix it

finally fixed my 8350i . Since i bought it used it had a report so i could not make calls but the tech fixed the issue for me it was simple just a bit of reprogramming and it was working

Thanks for the report back. Do you know what type of reprogramming he did to your device?

on the desktop manager he changed the email and then he used iden lab and changed some settings the exact ones i don't know
