Help!! Whenever u lock my blackberry curve 9300 the screen turns off then a couple of seconds later the screen come back on at stays on. Is this meant to happen?

The screen is only suppose to come back on once locked if you hit any buttons. Have you performed a battery pull reset to see if that fixes the issue?

yes, try a battery pull or reinstall the OS
