Thread: Installing OS 6.0 . HELP!

Yesterday , I bought a new BB Curve 9300 , today I tried to update it to OS6 .600 .oh , im using DS v6.1.0 B34 . After it is installed (DS n new OS) . I followed all the steps stated here:

After I wipe device , I open loaded.exe . and everything running smooth until at page 'Device Application Selection' . There was nothing to choose . Loader.exe said :

The BlackBerry Desktop Software does not have Blackberry Device Software for the device that you hav connected to the computer . Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator .

Now my BB only showing Reload Software 507 . Pliss help! #desperate

Problem solved . For those who facing the same problem , please follow this step :


1. connect your blackberry with pc using usb
2. open desktop manager
3. when desktop manager prompt a message..choose UPDATE!..
4. Follow on screen message step by step..
5. Done!

Same thing happened to me when I tried loading a new os from a file. DM wouldn't even recognize that my phone was hooked up, so it wasn't an option for me. Luckily, my 9850 was 2 weeks old so I simply brought it back to Sprint and swapped it out for a new one. I have since decided that I WILL NOT be upgrading my os unless it comes from Sprint themselves!
