    Looks like you may have some hardware issues. Is the device still under warranty? If so it may be time to replace it.

    I have installed the recommeded version of OS6 rel 2342, the problem still exists but the frequency of restart has reduced. The whole day today about 25 calls made & received it just restarted twice... Should i install OS5??

    Do you think it is hardware issue?? yes my cell is in warrranty but how to show the guys about the problem s it does not happen all the time..

    If I were you,I'd give it a try & install OS 5 as I said in one of the previous posts !
    If the problem still exists,it may be a hardware issue :boggled:

    Hi, i have reinstalled the OS 5 latest ver as .1007 as found in the above link but the problem still persists. Any options??

    is the any way to find out (through some logs etc) why the phone sometimes restarts?? How to show it to the service centre, it may not restart in their presence??

    I would bring it to your service provider and have them trouble shoot it. They may already know the issue and if it's hardware related.

    Smile Blackberry 9300 Restarting

    Hi,

    I had this issue and it was driving me crazy!

    I eventually worked out what was causing the problem after trying all sorts including wiping the device, changing the handset - in the end it was the battery!!!

    We have 9300's across the business and had several users reporting the same issue but it was completely random.

    My device started doing it after I had it for approx. 3months, others did it right away and some not at all.

    The issue is that it would appear that the battery is loose in some cases and moves when the phone is used which leads to the phone restarting like when you have removed the battery.

    My fix worked for me and every other device and is very simple:

    1. Take a business card and slice off the edge of it to the
    thickness of your battery (approx. 5mm).

    2. Take the back off your phone and pop out your battery.

    3. Wedge the folded over card (so its double the thickness)
    between the top of your battery and the housing in the back of the phone. The
    battery will now sit more firmly in its place.

    4. Trim any sticking out card and replace the back cover.

    You will now enjoy uninterrupted service from your 9300!!!

    I know this all seems like a 'Blue Peter' ask an adult for
    assistance kind of thing but I promise you it has fixed all of our 9300's
