Thread: 9330 Trackpad Moving on its own

Hi!
I just got my first BB a 9330 and I love it! The first couple of hours I had it, I noticed that the trackpad would move on its own. I changed it to the lowest sensitivity setting and it stopped. The next day the phone worked beautifully but as soon as it got to be 8:30-9:00pm, the trackpad would start moving on its own. It does this each night.
Does anyone have any solutions or suggestions as to why it does this? Or even why its consistent in when it starts?

Since its new I would suggest you take it back to the vendor and get it replaced.

I had a curve 8530 that did that too.. I thought I was crazy to even try to explain it to people lol, anyway It only did it for the first month or so, I had the phone for a year and it just seemed to stop doing it... Either way you go I'm sure it will work out.

i have to second the "taking it back to the store you bought it" bc thats a hardware malfunction and its not for sure if it will fix itself with time so better to take the safe bet and get a new phone
