it does unfortunately! going from the 8900 - 9300 feels more like a down grade then upgrade. Better upgrade path would have been to go from 8900 - 9780 if your looking a for a non torch option. 9300 - 9330 lacks a flash so picture and video quality is awful and the phone feels like it is cheaply made.

8900 - 480x360
9300 and 8520 - 320x240
Another difference I have found between the 8530 and the 9330 phones is that the battery life is definitely better on the 9330 than it is on the 8530. I had a 8530 and had problems with the battery draining down really bad on me. I got a replacement phone after a new months only to have the same problem recur two months later. I then called Verizon and talked them into letting me upgrade my phone to the 9330 as the warranty replacement since I had tried the 8530 and found the same issue coming up with those phones. I'm so glad that I did that. OS6 is wonderful and I have had relatively few problems with my battery compared to what I was dealing with on the 8530's.
Depends really what you use your device for. I had the 8900 and thought when i got a new Blackberry was do i need a good camera and though NO so i went with the 9300. I was aware of where it was lower spec as opposed to my previous Blackberry but can't fault the 9300.

The OS6 looks all nyce and all but it's like it was has a real "black box" feel to it, especially the browser. You can do what you want to but you don't have the foggiest idea what connection it's using, BIS or WIFI (We assume the WIFI has preference) I would trade the look for the os 5 browser where I can decide what internet protocol I want to use etc
