I felt after upgrading to OS 6.0.0.461 that it drains the battery more than OS 5 .. It's true that this version of OS 6 is much better in battery life than earlier versions .

Do you perform the occasional battery pull? It's good on the older devices that ran OS 5 originally to perform a battery pull restart once a day.

No just sometimes soft reset without a battery pull ! ... When I installed 6.0.0.461 .. I think I did a battery pull 4 times or 5 at most !

Had the BlackBerry 8520 a 5 months now, and very satisfied. When smartphones started coming out I never thought I'd need a camera, but it sure has been handy for documenting projects and family fun. Miss some of the cool stuff I had on the old big screen Palms, like planetarium, tide tables and other nifty apps, but the communications and pim functions have been very acceptableon the BB.
One suggestion, Whichever BB you purchase, make sure it has at least 512 mb chip. You will need that to run the latest OS, BB OS6.
