    Question 9930 OS V 7.1.0755 without MMs and email

    Hi, I have always used this kind of phone, first my 9320 and then my new 9930, I say new because I have just used this phone just a week before, I have a littel problem, How can use the MMS service, and email POP/IMAP, SMTP without BES/BIS, it´s very hard to find because i live in Cuba, I diont´t want to change my phone I relly Love it, Can I change book of service?, To install any app that could solve this, I used Logicmail but it does not work, display shows can´t open conection. Please let me know as soon as possible if I update the OS It could solve this problem???

    Hi Rafa! Without BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service), your phone is limited in what it can and cannot do. Without BIS you can basically talk and text. If you want to have updates pushed to your phone, such as new emails, facebook and twitter updates, weather updates, MMS, etc., you need BIS. With wifi, you can also surf the web.

    I hope this has answered your question and if anybody has a workaround for it, I've never seen it. Sorry bro!
