Thread: App world says something is needed...

...but none of the programmes are showing as requiring any updates.

But the little white star on a red disc is visible on the "My World" screen (not the home screen icon).


What do I need to do? Am I missing something obvious?

This is still showing even though I have updated to the latest Beta version form BetaZone, and it has been showing there all the week prior today.

Could just be a glitch on BlackBerry's end with the new transfer going on. I'd wait it out for a bit and see what happens.

Thanks Joe, I'll wait it out - it may just disappear in time. It doesn't really bother me as I only use App World occasionally, but I just think that it would be better to have it gone just in case there is a real update notification, lol...

Also remember it is a Beta version of the app. It would be better if you posted the issue in the Beta Zone forums.

If the issue is still there, report the issue to the BlackBerry Beta Zone team so that they could look into it.

I'm seeing this frequently on my Z10 as well. I've tried for hours on end (slight exaggeration) to get to the root of the problem with no luck. But I refuse to give up.
If I find a solution, I'll report back.

Have you tried checking to see if you need to update your BlackBerry ID?
