Thread: video recording dilemna

Is there an update for blackberry bold 9900 where video recording can do zoom in and zoom out. Its very important in video recording and this famous smartphone doesn't have one?

I don't believe that the hardware is capable of zooming while recording.

Something else I should note. BlackBerry 10 video camera will be able to zoom while recording. I can verify this with my Dev Alpha device.

That would be an awesome feature and you are quite right in it's importance. With all of the wonderful features of our Bolds, the ability to zoom in and out with the video recorder isn't one of them. I hope you have the opportunity to upgrade to the BB10 next year and then both of us can have long discussions about an awesome video camera! Have a great day!
