Thread: please help!!! 9900 app world

I have not been able to download from my App world since I upgraded from os 7.0 to 7.1... Each time I try it give me an error code

Can you give us the error message showing on the screen so as we can double what seems to be problem.

It displays code - Error I'd: 40820... It keeps on saying I should try again later

Try this:

Change the setting to permit insecure negotiation by completing these steps:

1. From the Home Screen of the BlackBerry smartphone select Options
2. From the Options menu select Security
3. Next, select Advanced Security Settings
4. Select TLS
5. By the box labelled Permit Insecure Renegotiation. Ensure the checkbox is ticked to enable the option.

Those steps were taken from KB28188
If that does not work try turning your mobile network off and just use WiFi.
