Thread: voice dialing feature interference

Good day guys, I'm experiencing this weird problem recently on my BB Bold 9900 os 7.1.0.342. The voice dialing feature keep on interfering while I'm listening music on my device. It always say "say a command". I've tried performing a battery pull but it doesn't help.

Do you have vlingo installed?

I had it before but I uninstalled it already

I had the same problem, along with the volume control going crazy. I would suggest upgrading to 7.1.0.569, I did and those problems went away. Good luck.

You could also take a look at changing the option for voice commands:


On the Home screen or in a folder, click the Options icon.

Click Call Management > Voice Dialling.

To turn off voice prompts, change the Audio Prompts field to No Prompts.

To turn on voice prompts, change the Audio Prompts field to Basic Prompts.

To turn on voice prompts and to have the voice prompts read out instructions that appear on the screen, change the Audio Prompts field to Detailed Prompts.

Press the menu key > Save.
