Mine is also set to a screenshot app. Always use it for the ::bbos:: news.
My convenience key is set to Capture Nux. I use it to take fast screen shots ;)

Mine was set to camera for a while. Then I realized it was a waste as I could quickly access it with (space) to QuickLaunch then programmed C key for Camera. Has been programmed to nothing for a bit. I was using Vlingo which required this setting. Never bothered to change it. Guess the convenience key isn't that important to me.
mine I set to memory booster to clear all me log file to make my bb faster ....
Good choice also... though I thought I saw that as an option to schedule within MeterBerry.. down now so I can't check. Maybe it was something similar that it was clearing.Quote:

Hi, Thanks for the great info. I didn't know there was amany screen munchers.
I don't even know which of the four I have. I thought it was just called Pro. The one I have lets me do what you suggest and remove the watermark, etc. Removing the watermark was the reason i bought it.

I'm coming in on this thread a bit late, but here's my two cents worth...
My convenience key is set to default (camera). BUT, I use VersaTool to give me a few others. Double press on the convenience key launches the video camera. Double press on "mute" button launches CaptureIt, Double press on "escape" key launches the clock. Double press on the "end" key launches a popup menu with a few often-used apps (password keeper, voice notes recorder, flashlight, etc.). ~ecm

I use Capture It by The TechMogul... I love having my screen capture tool at the tip of my thumb. I've been using capture it since I bought my 9530 when first released. I think the reason why I keep it on my convenience key is because using these apps through the menu often captures the menu as well. The only issue I've had with this option is that I do have a lot of pocket shots, but that gives me something to do in my down time, lol!
