I know when my phone was newer, it used to start up very fast after a battery pull but nowadays it seems to take around 5 minutes to reset between battery pulls. Is there anyway to get this down quicker so that I dont have to wait 5 minutes between battery swaps?

Uninstall more apps is the best way to cut boot time down.
i think ive uninstalled almost every app i dont use. i'm wondering if this has anything to do with being on OS 7.1

have you upgraded the OS on top of your existing OS? i have found that after doing that a few times the phone becomes slow. so i always prefer to back up my phone, wipe the device clean and install the fresh os, then restore backup.
My phone was repaired so I only got it back in MAy and I upgraded to 7.1 as soon as I got it. The issue to seems to be showing up only recently. I'm lazy to do a wipe but I think that may be what I have to do.Quote:
