Moving mp3 from media card to internal memory?

What is the easiest way to do this please?

Will the 9900 then find the music files next time I switch it on?

    Paul.
Hello Paul Iddon, you can move/copy/transfer any media from your BlackBerry Bold 9900 using BlackBerry Desktop Manager v7.0.0

If you don't mind, I will return to provide you a screen shot showing you how to do this the easiest way.

Let me know as soon as possible.

    Thank you.

That would be great Grim. Thanks.

    I'll check back tomorrow.

Launching it, it says I have version 7.0.0.59

My device manager is 6.0.0.47, application loader 7.0.0.31 (if that helps).

    Paul.

    Anytime my friend

I'll post the screen shot in about an hour or less, and it will be posted with my suggested instructions.

    Thank you.

Hello Paul, I'm also running version BlackBerry Desktop Manager 7.0.0.59

    I have taken a screen shot for you showing my BlackBerry Bold 9900 SD memory card to Built-in Media;

Computer > (*user name*) > BlackBerry > music (folder) open, now move the contents to your BlackBerry internal 8GB Built-in Media memory (6.29GB after format) to Computer > BLACKBERRY (*: ) > home > user > music

    * represents a letter assigned to this drive, for example D,E,F,G,etc...
    (*user name*) your computer name

    BlackBerry Tips:

    • In order to access the Built-in Media memory and/or SD card memory, you need to go to Options>Device>Storage>press BlackBerry key>scroll to Enable USB Mass Storage
    • When you have completed moving data files to Built-in Media memory, scroll to Disconnect and safely remove USB cable from BlackBerry device.

    Thank you.

jaysus858, you won't get much from a 2GB SD memory card to be honest these days, so grab the 8GB, 16GB, or the maximum 32GB (not all BlackBerry devices support 32GB) would be the preferred size, plus the cost has steadily gone down.

To find out what SD card your BlackBerry device can support, visit BlackBerry Smartphones - Manuals and Guides

    Thank you.

All depends on what you use it for, space is only limited to your liking.

    Paul.
Also keep in mind that if you only have a couple files to move you can always use the BlackBerry's built in file manager to copy and paste to and from your media card to your internal storage.

    Absolutely, ice is correct.

If you have only a couple of MP3's, I'd choose this way too.
