Thread: Bold 9900 Call waiting

Perhaps someone can assist. Is there a way of only allowing two beeps when a call is waiting. My call waiting continuesly beep for as long at the person is holding on and it is driving me to smoke and drink.

If Im not mistaken the only options you can control is whether or not call waiting is enabled or not. Otherwise you will have to call your carrier for any other issues.

As ice2921 mentioned above, it's very likely you would have to call your moble carrier, but there is another possibility, don't quote me on this, but it may be possible to change your call waiting notification alerts via your voice mail set up, since some carriers have done such an option to make it easier for you to control, and easier for the carrier to assist you if an issue such as this would occur.
