herbert yu,
I just hope you look at the whole picture before deciding on such a drastic move.
Keep me posted ok.
Thank you.
Update:
Just to let you know, I just bought a brand new Blackberry Bold 9900 tonight, this just shows you how much I am in love with the BlackBerry platform, and OS7.1 features.
It does everything I need it too, plus so much more, herbert yu.
You need to ask yourself, will it truly make you want it for whatever features it has?
Look at the whole picture, and imagine yourself using that device in real life.
Personally, I have tried it myself, gave it back after 1 hour use, grabbed a new Bold 9900, and in total love.
blackberry still on 9900 is unbeatable
A couple of years ago, I thought I'd try out the Droid Incredible. And it was. It was Incredibly awful. I sent it back within 3 days. My son wanted an Android phone. I got it for him. He hates it. But I'm making him stay with it because he didn't do any research into the phone. Just because his friends have them, he wanted one.
Now he's regretting it.
Herbert, have you seen what s coming down the pike with BlackBerry 10? Can you imagine the device that it will be on? If you claim you love BlackBerry as you do, I'd suggest waiting until the new device comes out and THEN compare.
I have an upgrade on my 9930 device awaiting me. And sure, I could easily switch to an iPhone like my wife...or a new droid...but I'm waiting. I'm probably going to spend the extra $$ on an additional data plan just to keep the 9930 when I transfer over to the BlackBerry 10 device in the fall..
Really do suggest you take a step back and like grimreaper said, look at what you have and ask, will you be better off..?
