Thread: Leaked OS 7.1.0.342 for the BlackBerry Bold 9900??

I was browsing the net and surprisingly saw a Leaked OS for Bold 9900. Its the OS 7.1.0.342 - OMG!?

I just upgraded my Bold 9900 to the Official OS 7.1.0.284 and then there is a newer OS?

What is happening haha!
Question is, what's new it can offer us.. Or is it just because it has almost all languages in it?

Ya. I'm downloading it now. Just in case. Well, I want to try it but since I still didn't install .284 on my phone yet, so I can't tell the diff..

I had official OS7.1.0.284, but I took the dive into the leaked OS7.1.0.342.

Personally, after using it over 30 hours later, it's a better operating system for BlackBerry devices, very quick, snappy, and responsive.

Super snappy and responsive! And I must say, the battery looks perfectly doing fine!
When I updated my Bold to .284, the Battery is good leaving it overnight with 3G connection ON and even the Wi-Fi (coz I leave my computer turned ON because I'm downloading something hehe )

Now that I have the new 7.1.0.384, all I can say is that this OS is SUCH A KILLER! Super great battery performance as I see an improvement with the battery!

Bold 9900 users, try this OS.. I bet you'll gonna LOVE it too! Thanks to the Team!!

Good to hear that you have updated your OS to .342! I will have to agree with you on that.. Much more responsive and the battery life is such a total killer! Well, enjoy the new OS and let us know if you'd encounter any issues..

I need your help in upgrading the OS but still not able to do it. currently i am having 7.0.0.598. i had alrady done the activity mentioned in the concerned thread but problem is that neither the BB Desktop manager is showing this Version (old /new) nor BBH Tool Loader is able to upload the OS. what should i do. a bit frustration for not getting updated inspite update is avalable
