Thread: 9900 os 7.1.0.284?

Anyone using this OS version? I've heard there's a problem with connecting to BIS? Is it true?

I haven't heard anything, plus it's official now OS7.1.0.284 for BlackBerry Bold 9900 and BlackBerry Torch 9810.

I will be installing this OS sometime today, and posting my feedback.

Well, I just read it somewhere, they've claimed, this problem only occur for T Mobile carrier. Screw that, lemme try first!

Well, you won't know unless you're a T-Mobile customer who owns a BlackBerry Bold 9900 using OS7.1.0.248

It seems OS7.1.0.284 is receiving a lot of positive news for this official recent release

I had installed this version on 15 Mar. It is running good on my BB9900, Singtel, Singapore. Love it .

I successfully upgraded my Bold 9900 OS to 7.1.0.284!

No issues for me and it works perfectly fine..
Haven't encountered any issues yet..

It runs smoother than .267! Great update!

And to all other BB users, go get your device, USB cable and download the new Official OS 7.1.0.284 and enjoy! rocks!

Does this update solve the "deep sleep" issue known for the BB 9900? When my BB 9900 enters sleep mode, there will be times that i will have to pull the battery out to wake it up since it refuses to respond.

Have you pressed the "Mute" button, located on the top of the Bold 9900, which awakens the BlackBerry from the "deep sleep".

yes, pressed it multiple times, short press, long press, it wouldn't respond (battery pull is the only solution). since i have upgraded to this OS version though i have not experienced it (3 days and counting).

Glad to hear you're not experiencing that issue anymore with official OS7.1.0.284

I didn't expect it was this good. I have to upgrade my phone but first, have to borrow laptop from anyone because my laptop was stolen!

No. Still not upgrade it yet, but already downloaded the .exe file and dekstop manager in my phone. Lol. I'm using .267 btw

I'm loving this OS. No issues here
