Thread: Problems with buttons

Here's the story. Been using bold9900 for almost 3 months. The button works fine but sometimes its irresponsive. Does it have to do with heat or something?

Could be a OS issue. Does it respond well after a battery pull restart?

I don't know. Sometimes I have to press hard, sometimes I don't. And now I got new problem. When I hold press Menu button to switch application, the screen goes crazy. It open menu, then go back and sort of (while still holding menu button)

Do you have a warranty on the device? I would recommend calling your service provider as this could be a hardware issue. Remember, make sure that you have only your carrier's OS installed if you return a phone or get support from them as many times they will consider a install of a non-approved OS to void a warranty.

Yup, I still have the warranty. I will ask them. Thank you.
