Thread: Incomnplete? OS7.1 installation question..

I installed the new OS 7.1.0 Bundle 648, and towards the end trying to 'connect to the device' my computer was unable to, and came up with the option to re-try due to a password complication etc.. After I tried a couple of times, my phone looks to be updated correctly showing the correct OS with no updates. Should I back up, do a full security wipe, re-install the OS from scratch, and spend the time to reload my apps. Any input would be great, thanks.

In case you don't have the official OS7.1.0.205 for the BlackBerry Bold 9900, you can get it below;

Usually when I update my device's OS, I disable all and any password's on my device, until the new OS has been fully installed.

It saves a lot of hassle when attempting this process.

From what you're saying, you have successfully installed OS7.1, so I would suggest, spend time to reload your apps, unless of course, you wish to wipe again, and install the official OS I have posted for you.
