My background picture has been shifted to the left leaving a small black strip on the ride side of my home screen. I was just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem or if anyone knows a solution.

Try to reset the wallpaper, located in Home Screen Preferences, then change the wallpaper back to your preferred background wallpaper.

If the problem still persists, try a battery pull. If it continues after that, take a screen shot of your home screen so we can see it in detail.
